Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") She is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. As a teen, Rosalia has explored the fringes of traditional and pop music. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the sound of the new artist as sharp with sweetness but with bite. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving a Grammy. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. The third album by Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with numerous producers and artists like Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released on March 20, 2022 after an appearance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the very first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman ever to receive both awards.
